As a current student in the Masters in Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (MEITE), I am deeply committed to fostering positive change within the education system. While the specifics of this endeavor are still unfolding, my core motivation lies in leveraging innovation, strategic thinking, and design principles to effect transformative shifts in education. Through my coursework in education policy, innovation, business, and design thinking, I have cultivated a skill set ready to address the complex challenges within the field. Looking ahead, I am excited to apply the knowledge gained to pivotal roles in education, where I can tackle the persistent "wicked problems" and contribute to building more equitable learning environments.

Undergraduate Education

I completed my undergraduate studies at Clemson University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. During my undergrad, I fell in love with learning about the other side of our education system, rather than instructional strategies.

Though I have yet to begin my professional career, I was able to educate a lot of students during my undergraduate. Through Clemson, I worked in a Title I intervention program called GoalPost. My time there was extremely rewarding as I was able to make a difference through academic, recreational, and goal-setting activities with my students. I also had the privilege of completing student-teaching at a wonderful elementary school, where I had very influential mentors who helped to influence my decision to go to grad school.
